slab and a bit to the West (visible in the Blob Rock photograph), is a short wall with four routes on it. Take Five is the bolted line that follows the arete on the right. The route is tricky, crimpy, spooky, and continuous. It feels its best when it is over, and only in hindsight seems like a fine line. Personally, I did not find an easy move on it. While it has a 5.12 crux between clips two and three, nearly every move felt like tenuous 5.11. Two feet from the anchor it still tossed up a hard move. If it was longer, it would certainly get three stars.

Lost and Found can be found on the tier below and a bit West of the

Radlands

slab.

This route chases the line of bolts immediately left of the arete and "

Take Five

". A thin move gains a short slab and largely moderate climbing to a stance below a small roof. From here, one can get an overhead clip that protects the crux pull over the roof, and the difficulties will end once established above the roof. The crux pull seemed hard and a bit inobvious. While a long ape index may be useful, good powerful crimp and pinch strength might be just as vital.

Lost and Found is a fun route, well-protected, powerful, and well worth the effort. Double the length and it would get three stars.

It is hard to imagine that this obvious crack line is undone.... It was a little dirty, and the start is a little dangerous, but once you get past the bad rock at the bottom, there is good gear and fun moves on great rock. The crux comes right away and feels harder than it is due to suspect holds, lichen and bad gear above a bad landing. If you can play it cool for the first 20 feet, you are rewarded with great rock and protection. Near the top, the crack narrows down to fingers and splits like a Y. From the ground, this section looks improbable but turns out to be very fun.

This route climbs up to and out the intriguing, obvious, left-facing and angling dihedral/roof system on the far right side of the wall.

Climb up the right side of the obtuse scoop on the lower face via delicate edges and flakes at 5.9 (this protects reasonably well with small nuts) then to big holds at the beginning of the roof.  Traverse left passing 3 pins, and the climbing gets thin. A good nut protects the tricky crux with desperate feet. Continue to the top and the anchors for

are just to your left.

Other than a high first clip, this is a well-protected, short, sport climb located just a few feet left of

Lost And Found

and

Take Five

. These are on the left side of blob, on the lower cliff below the

Divine Wind

area of Blob Rock. This route is number 42 on Blob in the Rolofson guide.

The opening sequence is stout 5.11 and unprotected save stick clipping the first bolt...this felt like the crux to me. Several moderate moves bring you to an interesting layback/overhang sequence that is short but stout and weighs in at solid 5.11. You'll likely use some crack technique through here. It lets up quickly after the crux, unlike its more demanding neighbors.

I found the two routes to the left (

Lost And Found

&

Take Five

) to be more continuous and enjoyable, but this route is certainly worth the effort if you're in the area.
