An incredible line that follows a laser-cut arete using pinches and crimps. Start with left hand on a seam, right hand low on the arete and right foot on a foot chip down low. Make hard moves on slopey pinches until you can crimp your way to the top. I have not done this route, but I worked it and look forward to sending it someday. I figured it deserved a spot on MP because it is the definition of cool. Thanks to Brett Meyers for cleaning and finding this gem.

Stand start at the prow with a right hand sidepull sloper on the arete and a small left hand hold. Pull on with good feet and stand up to the undercling feature at about head height. figure out where to hold it and get a high left foot. Make a long reach and hard lockoff to an undercling at about 10 feet. Pull into it and figure out how to top out!

Dirty and some broken feet but it is all there. Start on the left rising flake and traverse across the crack, top out straight up in line with the tree. There are some decent crimps over the lip to help you top this problem out.

A very nice little problem with great movement. Start on a cool hueco jug at chest height. Stand up to a sloper rail that will feel like a jug if you grab it right. Use some good albeit dirty crimps to top out.

Stand Start in the crack on just, move up on good holds to sloper for the top out. 

  Although it is not much to look at we found it pretty fun.

Perfect height, great moves, and devious holds.  This powerful, delicate arete is a hidden gem and now one of my favorites in the park.  Sit start with a three finger jug for your left hand and a crimp for your right.  Slither up to two tiny crimps using a sidepull before powering into a gaston pinch.  With the help of another crimp and an undercling, make a hard deadpoint up to one of two crimps before snagging the flat sloping lip which feels like a jug.

An interesting face climb with a delicate start and a fun finish.  Stand start with large feet and two thin sidepulls.  Use a crimp and a gaston and fight the barndoor to reach better holds.  Topout straight up, joining Slither at its end.

A fun, short, dynamic problem that revolves around two holds.  Pull onto the wall with a good diagonal pinch/jug.  Fire straight up to a flat hidden edge on the lip and topout with a few slopers.

Power into balance. Sit start with right hand on side pull and left hand on sloping rail. Pulling off the ground is the hardest part of this climb. Work you way straight up the face and top out directly over the start.

This is a fun climb with good movement and high rock quality that is unfortunately marred by the proximity of a large wedged block that hangs over the right side of the climb.  

  Start sitting with the left hand on a good angled edge at around 4 feet and the right hand on a low sidepull. Pull off the ground and bump the right hand to a good hold on the arete. From here, make a long move to the lip above without hitting your head on the large block (crux). Finish off with a tricky mantel, doing your best to not dab on the block.  

  This problem is #62 in the underground guidebook.

Highball face listed in the Underground Guidebook as a project. Line follows an obvious dike trending left to right up the center of the boulder. Stand start with opposing sidepulls in the center of the face. Crux is about halfway up. If someone else has climbed this in the past please let me know. Really fun climb and totally worth doing.

A quick little problem put up at the end of the day.  Sit start with a decent left hand and right hand on the massive sloper wherever you stick.  Using a good right foot, power up and left to a loose jug, then climb easier moves to a ledge.  Drop off. 

  The jug might snap at some point making the problem harder, but the sloper is cool.

This is a very hard dynamic slab problem. Start by stemming in the scoop to reach left hand up to a small thumb-undercling. Match the thumb-undercling and reach out left to a terrible ripple of a crimp. Get your right foot very high on an insecure, glassy edge and generate enough momentum to launch you high and right to a good crimp on the edge of the scoop. You'll probably lose all other points of contact with the wall when you hit the crimp. Control it, match, then follow good flakes up and over the top. The finish is a little high but very easy compared to the rest. A very good problem for those that can appreciate a hard slab climb.

Sit start on right side of the arete and work yourself into the arete and up. The crux is sticking the first move and keeping your feet. 

Unknown if this has been climbed before, looking for input. 

 Stand start with left hand on thin side-pull and right hand in crimp dish. Pull on and make a RH move to a crimp rail, match, work feet, make a barn-door deadpoint/dyno to triangle three finger jug. Cross, and work your way right and to the shelf top out.

 A sit start is likely doable.

Splitter crack in a corner. Crux is the topout. 

An obvious right to left traverse with an interesting mantle to finish.  A great way to warm up or get pumped out.  Sit start beneath the tiny roof at the right end of the wall and start climbing across jugs and slopers all the way to the left arete.  Now, move straight up to two good holds and press until you're able to topout.  Although fun, the crack has a tendency to get dirty, so brush it off before you take a lap.

A very nice finger crack. Stand start on a good hold in the base of the crack and climb straight up on great locks and laybacks. Top out in the pine needles. Good problem with a flat landing right off the trail, should see more action.

A long crack traverse leads into a vertical crack to topout.  Sit start at the left end of the wall.  Follow the rising diagonal crack right until you reach the arete before the corner.  Climb straight up to finish.

A short problem with great, friendly holds.  My only complaint is that it isn't longer.  Start squatting with the U-shaped jug in the middle of the face and pull up and left to the edges on the bulge above the crack.  Get your foot up and move out right to a large sidepull before topping out on easy, slopey terrain. 

  Variation - Rather than move right to the sidepull, topout straight up with a sloper above the bulge.

Fun little lip traverse. Top out at the V shape in the rock. 

From the obvious horizontal at head height, move up to bad slopers and make a big reach to a very slopey mono solution pocket. Get your feet up high and either bump to the slopey ball or make a hard lock off and cross to the ball. Once you've matched the ball, it's an easy move to the top. This problem is really unique for Pawtuckaway and looks much easier than it is. It's very friction dependent; long arms and good footwork will help too.

Big power moves on good holds makes this problem a lot of fun.  Sit start beneath the bulging boulder with a good edge, power up to the next juggy edge, then set up to dyno or use trickery to snag the slopey lip.  Top out. 

  The first move can feel huge, which is how the problem got it's name.  Every time someone sat down to climb, they uttered "Jesus."

Butt placement matters. 

  Start sitting with a RH crimp sidepull with a slopey thumbcatch and LH on a crimpy undercling. Figure out your feet and make a hard pull off the ground (crux) to reach the first slopey three finger crimp on the arete. Get a LH sloper and follow slopers up the arete to a precarious top out.

A nice climb up a clean, slightly overhanging wall. Good landing. Sit start in the middle of the boulder and traverse up and right along a thin crack with some finger sized pods. Make a tricky, sloping top out at the end of the crack at a respectable distance off the deck. 

Enjoyable face climb right up top near the fire tower. Stand start by the hueco and head straight up on crimps. Good top out. Perhaps someone has more and better info on this route. Fill me in. Perhaps a sit had been done?

A very aesthetic crack climb. Stand start laybacking the crack and scrunch your feet up. Get a good ring lock and stand up to better holds above. Top out same as "Buddha's Belly".

Offwidth start to a squeeze chimney. At the top exit to the arete at a chockstone or tunnel under and pop out at the top. 

Climb the tall dirty arete. There is a harder sit start on the left wall of the arete. The moves are fun and it's pretty tall but flakey rock and lichen detract from the quality. 

Jug, jug, arete, jug.  A nice, easy problem to stretch your muscles on.  Stand start with a jug in the crack on the left.  Move up right to another crack/jug, then make a fun move out right to the arete.  Topout with the help of another large hold.

Scamper up on to the pedestal and make a few moves to flat jug, then make committing moves into the thin crack and topout. 

 Start with both hands in the seam on two bad crimps, make move to upper right rail and top out. Crux is getting off the ground. Stand start goes much easier at V0.

Stand start with right hand on flake and left hand on a bad sloping crimp. Set your feet and fire to the lip. This will either be a dead point for taller people or more of a dyno for people on the shorter side. Either way a super fun route!

A very nice bulging undercling crack. Crouch start on good undercling slots and climb up and right as the crack turns into a layback flake. Continue all the way to a fun dihedral top out. Very high quality.

Start on a bad right hand and a good left sidepull. Thuggy first move then follow ok edges to the top. Hardest move on this is the first one to the good edge.

Sit start under the small roof in the crack, move to good holds over the lip and top out. Pretty fun for only climbing 2 feet isn't it?

Lots of boulders and boulderable outcroppings, very few climbers. The area is popular with hikers, and you're more likely to see them on the many established trails in the area. The rock tends towards the slabby side, so if you're looking for steep boulders head somewhere else. While there aren't a lot of developed problems there is potential for more to be added, and the area has two difficult, high-quality slab boulder problems worth making the trip for.
