Begin in a shallow corner before gaining a slabby face. Stay right at the arete and climb big holds to pass a runout section below the anchors.

Follow a line of 5 bolts up a solid gray face just to the left of break in the cliff face.  The crux is reachy, and may be harder for those with shorter wingspans.  It involves reaching out from a stance in the crack/gulley and moving left onto the face.  Some flakey crimps get you to the top from here.

Neat movement through concave feature halfway up route.  Cruxy move right before anchors.

Quality hand holds off the ground take you toward small crimps with minimal rests.

LEADING TO THE FIRST BOLT GETS A LITTLE DICY. Other then that fun route.

Located on the Southwest facing portion of the cliff this is the furthest right hand route.  Climb past five or six clips through a small roof to a nice two bolt rap anchor.  The anchor is located just below a small ledge which can be used to access the anchors on most of the routes on this cliff.

A v1 boulder problem guards the entry onto an impeccable gray cracky face.  Once established, some techy slab moves are still between you an the anchors.  Honestly I felt that this was a little tough for 10a, but who am I to start upgrading routes at a new area.

This is the second route from the right.  Follow the line of bolts past fun moves to a nice two bolt anchor.

Low first bolt can (and should) be clipped from the ground.  Hard compression moves through an overhanging scoop transition to thin balancey slab.  Wear a shirt so the juniper doesn't scratch your back!

Start in the short bolted crack and move into a hard sequence of crimpy face holds.  Middle section is both pumpy and technical.

Very different feel than it’s 10a neighbor to the left.  This climb requires some body English as you quasi-jam and stem your way up the short crack/corner.  Not sure if necessary, but I threw a few chicken wings moves in there for good measure.

Located on the Northwest facing portion of the Anvil Wall, Jam Session is the splitter crack at the far left end.  Thin hands to hands to large hands/fists to a large sloping ledge with two bolts.  Rappel or scramble to the climber's left to walk off.  

  This is a good place to teach someone how to jam because the crack is short and offers a variety of widths to practice on.

A nice crag very close to the road with short but fun sport routes in the 5.7-5.12 range, plus some cool bouldering on the way in to boot.  Scattered pine trees give shade when needed but most routes appear to stay in the sun most of the day.  Crag walls face west/southwest.  Oak Creek runs nearby if you need to cool down on the way out...but I've heard you should not drink the water! 

  This area is described in the Red Lizard II guide, although I have never personally looked at it; furthermore, it is apparently out of date as many new routes have been added.
