Adding to the variations!  The name says it all.  Sit start same as Nice Slot Sit Start, then climb Nice Slot Direct.  Not totally sure about the FA (as you never can be), so if someone has already climbed this, let me know so they can be given credit!

The full Nice Slot line. Start matched on a decent hold on the bottom left of the boulder, make a big move into the start of Nice Slot, and then climb Nice Slot. Don't read the next line if you don't want beta on the start.

 Beta on the start: I used a left heel hook in the hole/slot feature on the far bottom left of the boulder and a right foot on the nice ledge under the start.

This climb is basically just 2 moves and a top out. It would be a good beginner climb. 

Start low on the right side of the quartz intrusion, left hand under the ledge, right on a detached block that moves, but I don't think is going anywhere. Using jugs and crimps both in and to the right of the intrusion, top out pretty much straight up. The flake with the chalk X in the picture is on, but it's not going to last much longer; my next project will be finding a variation that bypasses it.

Start just right of the white vertical crack on a mini flake. Move up and left to several good holds in the diagonal seam and top out.

 Note: There are various accounts of this problem as "unknown", and I've been unable to find an official name. I've given this problem a temporary name, but if anyone is aware of the name given by the first ascensionist, I will update this page accordingly.

Start with hands in two obvious, good fingerlocks; feet where you like. Feet first is easiest, I think. Do some toehooking, hand shuffling shenanigans to top out via the obvious juggy flake. It‘s probably best not to fall at the end, as you could take a massive ride down the hill and into some rocks/the river. Be careful with your belongings for the same reason. Not a great boulder, but pretty fun if you’re in the area and like cracks.

Same start as Nice Slot.  Climb directly up into two small crimps, deadpoint to another good crimp, and proceed up the last few moves of Nice Slot.  

 I would not be surprised if the FA for this climb is incorrect, so let me know if it is not! Thanks!

Start on a large, left facing side pull on the left side of the Nice Slot boulder. Climb up and to the right on good but sharp crimps, including a so-so-sized slot, until you get to the good side pulls near the top of Nice Slot. Top out from there.

Sit start in the center of the face on the large undercling, sharing a start with Teacher Appreciation. Make a move upwards to a better hold, than traverse to the right, finding the large undercling flake a few feet away. Once you reach the righthand side of the flake, which is the start of Public Garden (and the tip of the sleeping gnome's hat!), traverse back left on the lip, continuing through to top out just left of the start and right of the large fallen tree.

Start on two small but obvious crimps at shoulder level.  The left hand crimp is much smaller than the right, and the right is slightly higher than the left.  Place your foot on the rail below you. Proceed up mediocre crimps to the sloped top of the boulder and top out. A very clean, short line.Grade is just a suggestion, but let me know your grade opinion!  It is difficult to judge the grade of such a short climb. (Feel free to suggest any other input or information that would be helpful!)

Start low on the wide crimp below the large fallen tree (utilizing either a wide right toe-hook or cramped face smears). Work your way rightwards to another wide crimp, and then straight up for an easy mantle.

I’m not sure if this has been climbed before, so the FA is unknown.

 Sit start just right of the vertical crack on the jug, move up and left into the diagonal seam, traverse left under the tree, and top out without using the ledge.

Start with both hands in sequential pockets on the chest-height diagonal seam. Move right and up to match hands in the large hole. Move left to a gaston and then eventually a matching layback. Finish by moving up the blank face and topping out.

Crux lip encounter. Good problem. Low end for grade FA: Kensie Whitfield / John Chipouras 2016? 

 

Sit start with the same sequence as Secret Garden and Appreciation Station, then traverse right after the cross using the underclings from Garden Gnome to avoid the moving and broken holds. Grab the first juggy undercling and a right sidepull then top out.The last flake from Appreciation is off - it's about to break - and so is the loose corner of the Garden Gnome start hold.

Start matched on same left facing side pull as "The Pipeline", move right onto the start of "Nice Slot" then finish by matching hands in the large hole. This variation has likely been done before and is similar to "Nice Slot" but avoids the more challenging moves at the top. Figured I would put this up to add an easier variation to the boulder.

Lowball roof topout! Good for learning body positioning in topouts and Probably the lowest/shortest climb in all NWB!

Start far right on the large triangular fin and traverse left, moving your hands over the top lip of the boulder.

Sitstart at the bottom right and climb up and left to top out same as Pipe Dream when you hit the jug. Watch the pointy rock behind you.

Same start and crux as Secret Garden, but rather than going directly up on the juggy crimps above, traverse down into the start of Kinder Garden (to the right of the quartz seam).  Climb up through a few bumpy crimp moves and top out to the right of the quartz seam.

 The highlighted section of the image is the general path this problem follows.

Same as The Pipeline, but use the left arete once you get to the right sidepulls instead of going straight up the face on crimps. (This is assuming the arete is off for the original Pipeline climb but let me know)
