This is the middle of three bolted lines on the Beer Can.  It turns the big roof on the right, then breaks left and climbs a thin face.

From the top of the approach trail to the Beer Can, scramble up to a small ledge with a two-bolt belay anchor. Continue 20' right to another 2-bolt belay anchor; start here.

Climb up and right, clipping the first 7 bolts of

Drink to Puke

.  Use long runners on the 6th and 7th bolts to minimize rope drag.  Break left over the roof (5.9), and climb a thin face and corner (crux) past 3 more bolts.  Continue up and left to the anchor.

This is a good first 5.11 sport lead.

Hydraulic Sandwich

This is the leftmost of three bolted lines on the Beer Can.  It turns the big roof on the left.

From the top of the Beer Can approach trail, scramble up to a small ledge with a 2-bolt belay anchor on the left side of the Beer Can.

Start with some easy climbing up and right, zig-zagging towards the left side of the huge roof.  It's a good idea to use longer runners on these initial bolts.  Clip the 5th bolt underneath the roof, and make an airy move out right on jugs (5.9) over the roof.  Clip the 6th bolt, then unclip the 5th bolt to minimize rope drag and keep the rope away from the sharp edge of the roof.  Above, the wall steepens and some thin face moves (5.10b) are needed to reach the anchor.

". From the belay at the bottom of the crag, clip 2 bolts before entering into a chimney below the crack. Place a 5 or 6 inch piece as far up as possible and extend it. First attempt to climb up through the chimney. After most likely failing, move out right and climb a flaky, balancy face to gain the fist/hand crack. Jam the fun, dirty crack to the top and move right to the bolt anchor for "

This is the rightmost of three bolted lines on the Beer Can.  It turns the huge roof on the right.

From the top of the approach trail to the Beer Can, scramble up to a small ledge with a two-bolt belay anchor.  Continue 20' right to another 2-bolt belay anchor; start here.

Climb up toward the right side of the roof, onto a ramp, then chimney and stem (crux) around the roof.  Continue up a slab/corner and angle left to the anchor.

Rolofson calls this route 10c, but it seemed easier.
