Start by hand traversing a small boulder to the left and into a shallow dihedral angling to the right. Climb past overlaps to a slab with a short, left-facing dihedral with shallow finger cracks to the roof. After gaining the roof, the top part of the climb is bolted such that you can either climb to the right of the bolts (staying on slabbier terrain) or climb straight up and slightly left of the bolts (up more featured rock) to the anchors.

Follow the steep, right-trending crack through 3 short overlaps. Don't linger in the compression chamber too long.... Then follow the left-trending crack and weakness to the anchors at about 80 feet.

From the top of the boulder, start up the slightly right-leaning ramp/cracks. The first gear placement may be tricky. Move left into the shallow dihedral system. Continue up and a little left & up and a little left. Finish up the huge, left-facing corner.

Start in the left-leaning crack system just to the right of

Katz's Deli

. Layback to a small ledge, then stem through an obtuse diheadral to a really fun mantel. Next up, a thin slab move leads to another mantel just before the business. There is nothing harder than 5.8 up till now.

Underclinging a large, downturned feature, work up to a tricky move to a quick rest. Pull the roof with reachy, solid gear, and finish up with glory laybacking.

This ~50 foot climb offers an interesting and safely bolted start leading up to a nice challenge in the middle for those who want to test their slab skills.

The route name comes from Melissa’s favorite animated show “Avatar: the Last Airbender,” where a main character is given the nickname Twinkle Toes for his ability to bend air and be light on his feet.

Start climbing a face below an overhang with permadraw, pull this overhang, move up a few moves to an undercling, and move right to a dihedral.

Start right of a wide crack filled with bushes, climb up to 2 cracks, and follow cracks to a top anchor.

There are multiple ways to start this climb:

The 'Inside' version of the climb begins at the inside of the giant flake left of the bolts. Lieback your way up while smearing your feet on the inside wall.

The 'Outside' version of the climb starts out right of the bolts on the face. This will require some slab technique. Using the edge of the flake with your left hand makes the face climbing more approachable.

Both of the ‘Outside’ and ‘Inside’ starts join at bolt 6. When the flake squeezes out at the roof, clip the 7th bolt as you move right to a well-protected crux. Getting over the tricky roof will require finding “good-enough” holds around the roof and trusting your feet.

This climb is named after Allen Street in New York City’s Lower East side, which  is also known as the “Avenue of the Immigrants” among locals. The name harks at the long history of this part of Manhattan as a launching pad for migrants and immigrants from within the US and from around the world — whether it be Jewish Holocaust survivors, Puerto Rican families, or Fujianese immigrants.

Handrail up and left on jugs, using small foot holds, to gain the 3rd bolt and the crux. Using sidepulls, gastons, and some funk, pull the bulge to gain the short slab. A few thin slab moves (you'll have to climb a little above your bolt here) gains the small roof. Good holds through the roof give way to cool runnel features and a little more funk before the anchor (currently only chains -- will add Mussies soon).

Start in a short dihedral. From the ledge above the dihedral, step up to pre-protect the crux, left-leaning, layback crack. Above the layback, a shallow corner system trends right. A bolt protects another thin move. Go right into the big corner, and follow it up to the roof.  The anchor is 6 feet above the roof.

This is a fun trad route with a wide start and an exciting small roof at the top (crux) with options for protection before climbing over it.

For now, this route is pretty dirty (especially in the roof). Please note that there is a head-sized loose block about 6 feed below the anchors.

", a movie on Netflix depicting the journey of an Indonesian character who ventures to New York to find his mother. Upon arrival, he is cared for and finds family in a group of Indonesian aunties. This route is in honor of Melissa's aunties who took care of her as an infant while her parents immigrated to the US. It is also in honor of her "Dumpling Crew" Asian friends who all (including herself) dream to be Boulder's Asian Aunties who take care, love, and feed visiting / new friends.
