across the way, Cryogenics dials the difficulty meter up a notch.   Great face climbing with a definite crux between bolt 1 and 2. Clipping the 2nd bolt ain't easy, and though it's safe you'll want to make sure your belayer isn't mesmerized by the tourists somehow lost on the Barker Dam trail.  Stays pumpy through bolt 3 and then eases off.

Unlike the rock on the lower southwest face, this wall is pristine.

Climb the right end of the wall through a number of bolts.  There's some loose rock especially on the upper half of this route, so belayers beware!  All the routes on this wall suffer from some crumbly rock, but this route isn't as bad as Transformers.

Climb the left line of bolts through horizontals and ledges.  Of the "Rambler" routes, this is the better one.  Even so, the rock quality isn't the best and the moves aren't very distinctive.

Move through a small roof at the bottom and climb the crack through a series of ledges.  The best top out is to clip the last bolt of

The Black Tuna

and move through the headwall to a two bolt anchor.

This one starts in the same place as

Midnight Dreamer

, but promptly moves left via technical climbing on a ledge.  The climbing then goes straight up, on thin, sharp, crimps to a small overlap. Ease your tips in the wonderfully smooth pocket, then launch through the overlap into the bullet hard patina.  Trend right to a ledge, then over a final short headwall.

Still needs some cleaning, but this is easily the best route on the wall.  A number of people have commented that it is reminiscent of a easy
