This is the obvious dike/crack system in the center of the formation. A very easy route that is useful as a down-climb from neighboring routes.

Nature Walk

Unprotected slab moves to an obvious stance gain the first bolt and then steep continuous smearing past the second bolt concludes the crux at the obvious jug; thoughtful friction above leads to anchors. Two stars out of five.

Climb a thin crack to reach a left-slanting crack/flake, follow that for a distance and then head up a thin vertical crack that splits the headwall above.

Face climb up to a thin dike and the face above with minimal protection. Can be top-roped from anchors on

Low angle slab paddling leads to a somewhat steeper finish that makes it a bit more interesting.

Two bolt anchor on top but not set up for rappelling so use anchors on

Slab Rats

to descend or down-climb the dike in the middle of the formation.

Slabby climbing that links a series of pockets/pods and stays independent for it's entire length.

Face climb past a right-arching overlap and then a horizontal crack to reach the obvious zig-zag crack that splits the upper face.

Climbs a crack that passes along several large depressions in the rock to the left end of a ledge and on to the top.

This top-rope problem parallels

Nature Walk

to the right as it connects face climbing with several depressions in the rock.

Climbs the narrow steep slab right of the obvious crack/dike (

Manzanita

) by means of thin friction and the odd edge. One star out of five.

This is the left-most route on the Nature Trail Wall and features well-protected smearing on good rock. Gear belay and walk off, although the easiest descent is to downclimb
