Short but sweet slab route on the lower (left) end of Indian Palisades Corridor -- duck around the right side of Willit Pillar, do a short scramble up to your left, and you're there -- almost directly behind the pillar.  The climb ascends the middle of the face past an obvious line of bolts.  It is well-bolted, classic Joshua Tree friction.  Good practice for longer slab climbs like Double Dip, Stichter Quits, and Walk on the Wild Side.  My only complaint is that it's too short!!

Vogel rates this climb at 5.5, but Bartlett calls it a 5.7.  Splitting the difference and calling it 5.6 sounds about right to me.

This is an okay route worth doing if in the area.  Start up the easy crack below a large hole 70' off the ground and left of a roof.  Continue up left-facing crack and face, and past chocolate-colored patina plates.

A patina plate can be slung for an anchor.

Descend via low 5th class downclimbing to climber's left.

This climb starts up and slightly left clipping bolts along the way. There are chances from small gear to protect the first few moves but the climbing is not too hard. Once about half way up head right towards an obvious short crack  (optional hand size gear if you want). Climb up to a glue-in and good stance below large patina flakes. I climbed left and used the left arete to gain the patina above the first one. You can clip a bolt from the next stance and finish the climb.  When first established, this had some loose scary rock, but the loose rock seems to be long gone.  This is now a popular, fun, and we'll traveled climb.

Locate Water Moccasin (5.7); this is the well-bolted, left-arching friction route climbing the right edge of the brown section of the wall.

Eyes of Amber climbs past two bolts and a long runout, optionally protected with small trad gear, to the obvious ledge and tree.

A 50m rope is plenty to get you back to the ground, but the tree is on the small side of confidence-inspiring for a rappel anchor.

Vogel describes two routes (Chivalry's Not Dead, 5.7 and Snakes in the Grass, 5.9) in between Eyes of Amber and Water Moccasin.  Neither route showed evidence of bolts or chalk.  In fact, this description MIGHT be for Chivalry's Not Dead, but that just makes Eyes of Amber more ambiguous.

Cool pumpy moves at the start (crux) to large buckets. A bit gritty.

Good climbing past three bolts. There's a mixture of solid great rock and the other kind. Choose wisely.

Water Moccasin

(5.7); this is the well-bolted, left-arching friction route climbing the right edge of the brown section of the wall.  To the right of Water Moccasin is a lighter section of rock, with a steep section at the bottom.  The Harrell-Turner route (5.10b) ascends the center of this section of rock.

Serpent Scales climbs past four bolts (the last slightly off to the right) along the "scales," which are splotchy, brown patina plates along the right side of the lighter section of rock.

A 50m rope is just sufficient to get you back to the ground.

This section of rock is not very good. It is grainy as all get out but might clean up decently in time...

Fun and well-protected climbing up positive features in dark-colored rock lead to a nice belay high above the desert.

A pleasant climb that likely earned it's name from the lack of protection. Climb solid patina up the face to a fixed anchor and set a toprope for friends, or access via one of the rotues to the left

This route is fun, but a scary lead. It's characterized by highsteps onto slopers and good smears. Located near the upper (right) end of the Indian Palisades Corridor, in the white section apparent in the picture attached.

The climb starts low and left of the first bolt, going up to it (10-), past it a ways (5.10b) and continuing up past moves of decreasing difficulty to join the anchors on Serpent Scales, a solid 2-bolt anchor on the belly of a bulge, just before 1/2 rope (0n a 60M).

The climb is fun and rewarding and gets 2 stars.

This is a fun zig-zag crack. Start 10' left of Willit Slab climbing up a groove past an old relic of a bolt stud. Then make some moves left to a crux crack. Fun moves on clean rock makes this a fun one to do while hanging out in the corridor, but be solid on the bottom and middle part as its not to great on pro.

Starts in the large dish between Eyes of Amber and Water Moccasin.  The crux is climbing through the dish with no really positive handholds.  Once past the dish, easy climbing to the anchor on plates.

This route goes up the rather large N. Face of the N. exit of the Indian Palisades Corridor.  It is behind and to the right of the route The Shank, and a ways to the left of the Varnished Wall. This route has bolted (and grainy run-out) 5.10+ direct start, but I believe it's best of come in from the right on easier ground, and then up after that.  Lots of interesting enough climbing, but not a classic.

Right of serpent scales. 3 bolts and one hidden one way up high, probably added to keep people from killing themselves. Not awesome, but another tick on the wall.

Crux is about 20 feet up or there about. A few fun traverse moves up top, then up and over left side of formation. Horizontal cracks protect well. Real fun climb!!! (I have a feeling it has been done either Solo or via a TR because it is sort of "right in your face obvious"... None the less, it's well worth doing.
