Good vertical crack climbing fun and recently cleaned, Firebird climbs a friendly crack system on the left side of the Zonkers wall.

 P1 5.6+ 80 Climb a short hand crack step left, follow the crack system up to a large ledge with some oak trees.

 P2 5.7+ 45 Start on the left side of the ledge, Face climb up to a 6in wide crack leading to the top.

 The second pitch has not been cleaned but could use it. From the first belay you can walk right along a ledge that provides access to some of the upper routes/pitches or just for the view.

Zonked Out was the first 5.12 in New Hampshire and it remains one of the best 5.12 trad leads. It's the thin crack to the left of the classic Screaming Yellow Zonkers. 

  Zonked Out is a study in technical laybacking and thin jamming. The moves are engaging, and the pro is pretty good.

Begins in a rather ominous looking chimney with many stacked flakes. Good "full-body" climbing skills and prudent gear section lead to a deceptively pumpy and powerful sequence through the small roof. An excellent warmup for the real reason you came to the Zonkers wall just a few feet to the right!

Start just right of SYZ. Climb obvious left-facing corner to an offwidth. Traverse right to anchor. 10d if you climb the offwidth.

This is one of the best pitches in the northeast! Don't follow the crowds. Come climb this materpiece! Spectacular overhanging finger crack climbing to pumpy and technical crux. Jaw dropping! 

  Some history from the Ed Webster guidebook: "Joe Cote and Bruce Kumph aided the first ascent of the route on June 15, 1975. The first free ascent was a significant climb of the times when it was done by Jim Dunn in October of 1975."  

  Trust me, onsighting this crack is gonna feel significant in 2024.

Start from obvious corner system, Circus Times just right of SYZ, and climb right into right facing corner, onto the arete. 

Climb Zonked Out and after the crux there is a horizontal crack that leads over to the last 15 feet of Screaming Yellow Zonkers.

This fun, steep climb follows a crack system a few feet left of Zonked Out.  Jam and stem your way up a chimney/groove to a good ledge on the left.  Be warned, this is Henry Barber "5.9+"!

This small area has a dense collection of routes including the mega-classic namesake route Screaming Yellow Zonkers. SYZ alone should inspire a visit to this section of woodchuck ledge.
