This fine climb ascends the major crack system that begins at the upper left side of the buttress.

Pitch 1 – Climb the steep handcrack, and reach a section of left-facing corner (thin protection) which eventually turns into a shallow, flaring crack. Step left, and follow an easier crack to the anchors. 5.10+R, pro to 4”, 90’

Pitch 2 – Up the left-facing flake to a bolted face, and on to the anchors. 5.10+, pro to 2”, 3 bolts.

This climb works the left side of the large roof located downhill and to the right of Mighty Mouse. Work past the crux roof near the ground, then ascend blocky terrain to a ledge (possible belay). Continue up the major weakness above, to the top of the Skidrow Wilsom buttress.  Use the rappels for Skidrow Wilsom.

This is the unmistakable left facing dihedral that marks the right edge of the large recess.  Strenuous, and beautiful climbing reaches the upper roof, where a demanding set of moves allows access to the corner and ledge above bearing anchors.

As of 7/2017, another candidate for a major route scrubbing!  Located just right of the previous climb, this crack eventually joins Tumescence for its final right-facing corner.  Rappel from the same set of anchors.

A very serious lead...named after a silly, pseudo-mythological tale the FAs created involving one of the all-time eastside hero going head to head with the Hootgoat.

Climb up to the thin crack right of the central weakness, to reach a bolt.  Very difficult and runout climbing reaches the crack above, where the vertical crack meets the diagonal weakness.  From here move up and right, then continue up unprotected face and back left to the top of the buttress

Ascend the alcove cracks formed by the chockstone, then move left into the major crack system. Pass a small ledge, and enter a section of left-facing dihedral. Move left past a bolt, and into a short corner, looking for a bolt out right. Pass this bolt and continue up the final short fingercrack to the anchors.

Pitch 1 - Sustained climbing on great stone passes multiple overlaps and roofs, with the final section being indelibly classic.  13 bolts, 100’

Pitch 2 – From the belay, a clean finger crack leads up, then curves left and turns into a left-facing corner. At the corner’s top, move up and right on large holds, to easier ground and the second set of anchors.

Note: This route’s name commemorates the title given to Matt Ciancio's humble abode in June Lake, where all climbers were welcome.

To the right of The Knuck Noodleman Show; a technical, poorly-protected left-facing seam, bearing one bolt near the top.

Boulder up to the left crack above, and climb this to where it shares a bolt with Honky Heaven, then move out left on the flake above to the base of the overhang with a “bone-shaped” protrusion.  Move up and over the “bone”, to reach a small overlap, and then up to one bolt and the crux. Finish up by moving right and joining Honkey Heaven to its anchors.

Start uphill from the toe of the face, at a left-facing crack.  Move up this, to a traverse left, to reach a short section of crack that finally ends at the face.  3 bolts protect thin moves till easier climbing reaches the anchor. An 80 meter rope reaches the ground; a 70 meter rope reaches the ledge at the base of the two previous routes (followed by some downclimbing), a 60 meter rope reaches the anchors for the previous routes, where a second rappel reaches the ground.

This route (named after the antics of Strassman's dog, Knuck) can be found approximately 100 feet to the right of the previous route (Doug Robinson Battlees the Hootgoat). These can either be started by doing 4th class moves up to a high ledge, or starting on short but attractive cracks from the ground below (which will inevitably cause an increase in rope-drag.) This route and the one to the right of it share an anchor above where they converge.

A cryptic and powerful crux at the start leads to easier but fine climbing up the seam above.

This route title was one of Matt’s nicknames given to him by his longtime friend and partner, Andy Puhvel.  It describes Matt's short but powerful stature....as this route is short but packs a punch.

Start below the main crack, at a short fingercrack which reaches the ledge below the main crack. Continue up the main crack, to where it begins to thin out, and becomes shallower. The crux comes right at the very end, where thin face moves reach the small ledge and the anchors.

Although well-vegetated (as of 7/2017), this set of cracks marks the left side of the large recess that is found at the far right end of the wall.  Cleaning would produce a quality route!  Anchors are found near the ledge at the top of the corner.

A single crack leads to a set of parallel cracks up higher, then turns back into a single handcrack near the top.

This route is one of three climbs that are named in commemoration of a close friend and Eastside climbing legend, Matt Ciancio, who passed away on May 24, 2017.  This route name was Matt’s colloquialism for trail food.
