Start on the right wall of an upstream facing corner, 20 feet upstream from the start of Die-Hedral - climb the left slanting crack until it is possible to move up right below overhang.  Pull the overhang to gain the large ledge. The "second pitch" ascends the left wall of the Crypt between the corner and the incipient crack.

Start 35 yards upstream from the plaque, on a rock platform at the base of several dihedrals - climb right up ramp to the second right facing dihedral. Climb the dihedral to the upper ramp.   Note: The route is easier if the edge is used.

The gully is about 50 yards upstream from the plaque and just upstream from a low angle wall with and overhang along its base.

The first 1/2 (crux section) climbs the face between Executioner’s Song and Bizarro World avoiding the Bizarro World arêtes and the left wall of Executioner's.  Once you gain the jugs just left of the low end of the left arête on Bizarro World, the crux is over and you can head on up and finish on the second 1/2 of Bizarro World.

Start 40 yards upstream from the plaque below a large right facing inside corner - from the sloping ledge, climb the corner to the top

Start 15 feet upstream from the plaque and 5 feet right of the start of Layback Dihedral - climb a wandering route up the face following the incipient crack.

Descent for downstream climbs in dihedral section

Hand crack up a shallow dihedral about 10 yards upstream from the plaque.

A short climb on the most up river section of the Dihedrals.  Start in the bottom slab and go up through the large notch in the small roof.  Follow cracks all the way to the top.

Climb one of many variations of cracks, flakes, and small dihedrals on the lichen covered wall just left of the large chimney. Variations range from 5.4 to 5.7.

Start same as Take Five - traverse left and pull overhang at the crack to the left of the notch. Climb the left side of the wall.

Just right of Ender. Climb the star-shaped incision, coming around the right side of the arete, and finish the climb up the face.

Climb the right-facing dihedral just left of Executioner's song. When the first dihedral ends slope up and right into a second dihedral and continue to the top.

Start same as Executioner's Song.  Climb the right face of Executioner's Song, using the arete to gain the ledge above.  Then continue up the arete above to the top.

Start 30 feet downstream from the plaque - climb the dihedral.

Climb flakes and cracks ending about 13 yards upstream from the plaque.

This goes up the middle dihedral with a overhang at the top/   This 5.8 requires very good foot work and makes you think that 5.8 is hard.

Climb up the ramp/dihedral. At the top of the ramp, the route trends to the right a little bit for the easy topout.

Start 15 feet downstream from the plaque, below a dihedral with a large overhang at its top - climb the easy corner to the overhang. Pull the overhang at the thin crack.

From the sloping ledge on Executioner's Song, pull the middle of the overhang and climb straight up over the bulge.

Start about ten feet left of Layback Dihedral and climb directly up the obvious arete.  Stay within the bounds and have fun. It only goes when it’s straight up, no detours. On Summer days bring oven mits!

The Dihedrals is a 70 yard long section of the cliff consisting mostly of dihedrals. The Dihedrals are about 75 yards upstream of Juliet's Balcony and beneath the plaque dedicating the gorge to Stephen T. Mather. This is one of the most popular spots at Great Falls. It is an excellent location for beginners and has several nice hard climbs too.
