The route starts dusty like most others here, but it cleans up considerably as you move higher.   Lots of good rests on this on before you do any hard moves.   There's a thin section about mid height and the true crux comes around the last 3 bolts.

A surprisingly pumpy route on mostly positive holds, but with some nerve-wracking moves on somewhat-less-than-large features.

Start at the left of the black water streak; the first bolt is a bit above head height.

Climb up the left side of the gritty black streak, occasionally venturing in the tan rock on the left (but you'll not want to delve too deeply into the leftloose choss awaits and your belayer will be unhappy).

Fight the pump, and wonder around the sixth or seventh bolt if it will ever end.

Like most routes, a slightly chossy start to better climbing. A hard, boulder section at the 1/2 way mark to fun cobble climbing.

Note- one bolt is a little hard to see when you approach it.

Climb cobbles through two distinct roof sections.

An incredible line! So characteristic of Maple's best endurance syle climbing- long and proud! Wind your way up the wall to a final good rest three quarters of the way up (about 11c to here). Above the angle steepens, and the hardest moves await. Amazing finish!

12a/b/c whatever. Climb for a long time on cobbles. Its very similar climbing to the 12 climbing on the Minimum Wall. An occasional jug with lots of steep cobble pulling. Great climbing, but nothing that really sets it apart from the other 12's.

Three distinct crux sections on this climb with some hard to see/find holds.

A long, long route by

Maple

standards, this line will leave you exhausted and feeling like you just ascended three pitches with several cruxes.

Begin by using big, positive holds past the first bolt to a ledge. A tricky, strenuous crux awaits up a vertical section to another "ledgy" bit and a good rest.

Another cruxy section to another rest. Another cruxy section. Another rest. Repeat.

The total bolt count on this route is 25 plus anchors, although several of the bolts can be profitably skipped (the route was equipped ground up by Jason Stevens, presumably using a

Willy Stick

which accounts for the closely-spaced bolts).

You may also want to reach down and unclip some of the bolts once you get a higher bolt clipped because, near the top, you're pulling up a lot of rope and the less drag the better.

Note that the route is

longer than half a 60m rope

. A new, 70m rope barely reached (there was about 2 feet of rope left on the belayer's side when the climber was on the ground). There is a midpoint chain anchor to accommodate shorter ropes.

Same start as Nuclear Sponge, but break right at bolt 5.

Big cobbles for the first few bolts to a powerful crux mid-way up. Multiple ways to do the crux section, but all feel about the same difficulty. Anchors are the higher set.

This route is chossy compared to the other climbs on this section. Climb carefully and watch for rock fall.

Crux section apx. 1/3 of the way up. Plus there is an endurance crux at the top.

With more traffic, this route will be better and it will probably feel easier (12a?)

Fun route to the right of Jackknifed. Crux near bolts 6-7-8ish.

This unique climb follows the crack system. It has a fun varied movement that is different than most maple routes. The crack system holds old pins that have been there for how long?

Easy climbing for the first few bolts to a distinct crux section on smallish holds (esp for Maple).  Long, steep and pumpy climbing to finish.
