Above the tree crossing, at the left end of the Patio traverse. Stick clip the 1st bolt and climb up steep rock through a bulge. Crack the crux and follow bolts up steep face to a 2-bolt anchor. Excellent climbing!

Short, steep and juggy climb that serves as a good warm-up.  Climb 20' or so (no pro) up a slab (5.4-ish) to the 1st bolt where the wall turns to vertical.  Up this clipping 4 bolts along the way until the wall kicks back. Head easily up and right to the anchors.

Beware of some flaky rock and a creaky flake just right of the 3rd bolt.

This is a nice, short and sweet climb on a slightly overhanging wall.  Easy slab climbing up to the 1st bolt.  There is a hard move to get started, and it stays challenging till the wall kicks back just above the 4th bolt.  I thought there was another crux section near the 3rd bolt.  BBB would deserve 2 stars if it were longer. The rock seemed quite sound.

This varied little traverse offers a nice landing and a good spot to hide from the rain.  In fact, at one point during the El Nino summer a few years ago, it was the only piece of rock I could find in the Boulder area that wasn't either drenched or seeping.

El Patio is just uphill once you cross the downed tree over the creek to reach Bell Buttress. It sits on a comfy bench right of the big gully and directly below Arms Bazaar, Epiphany, etc.

This 45-foot long traverse is usually done right to left, though it goes both ways (V5).  The crux is the middle, which can be made harder or easier depending on your elevation.  A few eliminates can be fashioned as well.  Beware the loose-looking blocks in the white rock above the traverse.

Above the tree crossing at the Patio boulder problem. On the right side of the Patio problem look for a high bolt and corner that starts 25 feet up. Stick clip the first bolt or place gear (1 1/2 to 2) to get to first bolt.Power past the crux and up into corner. Place gear, then move right to arete/ face past a third bolt and up to 2-bolt anchor.

Above the tree crossing at the "Patio" boulder problem. At the right side of the Patio traverse is a flaring hand-size crack that turns thin below a roof. Climb the crack with good gear( the crux) to roof. Undercling right and up a face (hard) past 3 bolts. Past the face, protect with medium friends and climb to 2-bolt anchor. Classic.

Above the tree crossing at the Patio bouldering traverse. Just right of the Patio boulder problem is a slot leading up to a steep face. Climb the slot,(gear) then climb seams/cracks past four bolts to the top and a 2-bolts anchor. Good warmup for the other routes here.

Poolside begins just right of the D' Antonio route: The War on Peace, located in the center of the Patio Wall on Bell Buttress.  Stick clip the first bolt.  Short and bouldery, Poolside takes a rising undercling traverse to below the roof.  Reach up and clip the third bolt, tackle the deceptive crux (kneebar possible).  Easy climbing leads to the anchors.

This is a good overhanging route that starts on the lower rightside of Bell Buttress, just up from the tree crossing at the Patio boulder problem. It is the second route on the wall (there are 5 new route) when looking at the cliff and going left to right. Stick clip the first bolt (or boulder up to it) then fire up a series of difficult moves to a good stance. Shake out then continue up on 5.10 moves to the top and the anchors.
